Quartzite Slab Advantages
Quartzite makes for a smart, long-lasting investment for your kitchen or bathroom.
One of the main advantages of quartzite is its hardness and strength. It rates as a 7/10 on the Mohs scale of hardness, making it one of the most durable natural stones available. With a quartzite countertop, you don't need to be concerned about scratching or chipping.
It's heat and UV-resistant, meaning it works for outdoor kitchens as well. If that wasn't enough, it's also less porous than most other natural stones, denser, and stain-resistant! Therefore, unlike marble, it won't etch.
Although most quartzite is white and gray, that doesn't mean more colorful options aren't available. In addition to more earthy tones like beige and brown, we have vibrant hues of greens, purples, and blues as well.
Therefore, quartzite is perfectly adaptable to any interior design, from vibrant rainbow hues to elegant monochromatic looks.
Quartzite countertops are low maintenance and long-lasting. Some quartzite slabs do require sealing, so please consult with our professionals before making your purchase.
