Porcelain Slabs & Countertops

Porcelain is an innovative product that has become increasingly popular among homeowners and interior designers. Due to its hardness, durability, and low absorbency, it's the ideal material for kitchen countertops. It's a creative and practical choice perfect for the discerning homeowner.

Produced by using thinner clay and higher temperatures, porcelain is denser and harder than ceramic. As a result, it's scratch-resistant and heat-resistant. Moreover, it's slightly less porous than ceramic, making it even easier to clean and maintain. Already widely used in Europe, porcelain countertops are now becoming popular in the US for good reason.

Porcelain Countertop Usage

Porcelain slabs are well-suited to endure the wear and tear of a busy kitchen. They also work well as interior and shower wall coverings.

Produced by using thinner clay and higher temperatures, porcelain is denser and harder than ceramic. As a result, it's scratch-resistant.

Additionally, porcelain is heat and UV-resistant. It won’t fade under the sun, and you can place hot pots on the surface without worrying about damaging the surface. Nevertheless, we always recommend using mats for an extra level of protection.

Unlike most natural stone countertops, porcelain is stain-resistant due to its low absorbency. It’s not vulnerable to acid, making it easier to clean and maintain.

Porcelain Slabs Advantages

1- Porcelain countertops are versatile. They can be used in interior areas like kitchen countertops, receptions, bathroom walls, and more.

2- Porcelain countertop slabs have heat resistance. It is a big advantage in the kitchen when you think how easy to put your heated pans and pots.

3- Porcelain slabs are easily styled with any design. You can have thousands of different colors and patterns.

Porcelain Slabs Design

Our porcelain slabs come in a wide range of designs, colors, and patterns. If you want a statement piece in your kitchen or bathroom, check out our Agata Blu Lappato Lucido porcelain slab. If you prefer a more natural look, we have options that mimic the look of natural stone, such as our Slate Black Natural porcelain slab.

Additionally, we offer glazed and unglazed options for porcelain.

Porcelain Slabs Maintenance

Porcelain countertops or bathroom vanities are low maintenance. Due to its low porosity, it doesn’t require sealing. Its stain resistance makes it easy to clean.

One of the few disadvantages of porcelain is that it can crack under blunt force. Nevertheless, as long as you’re careful and not badgering your countertop with heavy objects, it’s unlikely to crack.
