The Delft Ceramic Collection features 15 historic motifs painted on traditional frost-white ceramic tile. Historically, Delft tiles were exclusive showpieces on fireplace surrounds. Chinese blue-and-white porcelain inspired Dutch and English artisans of the seventeenth century to invent these tiles. Typically, they had picturesque scenes from the countryside and daily life, with images of farmers, horses, and ships. Some Delft tiles even had biblical or mythological scenes.
Nowadays, these beautiful tiles are featured on indoor wall applications in bathrooms, kitchen backsplashes, feature walls, and wine bars. To preserve the artisanal history of the original Delft tilemakers, we created a variety of vintage designs. From ships, windmills, craftsmen, and more, we have harkened back to the original pictorial scenes.
With our Delft Ceramic Collection, bring some of this rich history into your interiors.
