Marble Systems, Inc. DBA Marble Systems, Country Floors is seeking an Architectural Sales Supervisor for its New York, NY office.
Job Description:
Develop leads, communicate with designers/architects, understand their needs and the project they are working on, and ensure a smooth sales process. Follow up with architectural leads and contact architectural firms for specifications of new projects. Build relationships with targeted design firms via product presentations, library updates, lunch & learns and industry events. Provide material supply quotes to architects/designers as necessary for all projects. Produce drawings using computer-assisted drafting systems (AutoCAD), 3D collages/renderings using Adobe products, or drafting machines by hand, using compasses, dividers, protractors, triangles, and other drafting devices. Promote and sell our product portfolio to existing or new clientele. Supervise and train other technologists, technicians, and drafters. Determine the work order and presentation method, such as orthographic or isometric drawing. International travel at least twice a year for large projects.
Job Requirements:
The candidate must possess an associates’ degree or the foreign equivalent in Architecture or a closely related field, plus three years of experience in an architectural or design occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in Architecture or a closely related field, plus three years of experience in an architectural or design occupation.
The required experience must have included:
- 3 years of experience developing architectural designs;
- 1 year of experience reading Construction Documents (“CD”);
- 3 years of experience working with AutoCAD Architecture software;
- 3 years of experience with floor and wall covering materials, including but not limited to marble, granite, porcelain, ceramic, etc.
